Technology Stack
In the case of Don’t Mess With Texas, the client provided us with the general concept of what was desired. To meet their expectations, our programming team built the structure of the game using Unity. The work included developing a scoring algorithm, level designs and a logic for generating random gameplay-relevant assets. The purpose of the game — to educate children about the dangers of littering — informed our game designer’s decisions about level complexity, level progression schemes, and the reward systems. Our art team gives users a play-style choice by allowing the game to be played in two modes: flat vector (2D) and low-poly (2.5D).
